about
Since the first campfire was lit, humans have shared stories. For Wyoming-born author Maddison Hodson, storytelling is both art and a way of making sense of the world.
Raised among stunning landscapes that feel both sentient and unforgiving, Maddison writes character-driven stories shaped by the mythos of the American West. She is a poet and novelist who served as a writer-in-residence for the Wyoming Arts Council.
Whether drafting narratives for global corporations or working on her next novel or poetry collection, hardly a day passes that Maddison isn’t writing.
She still lives in Wyoming with her husband, daughter, and son.
